A voiceless post-alveolar affricate ch [tʃʰ] in stem-initial, intervocalic position. The closure period of this token is partly voiced, but the fricative release is voiceless. Notice that the release portion of this segment is significantly longer than the closure. This is a characteristic pattern across the Dene languages.
